Acca type

ACCA Typing Game is an educational digital game, officially authorized by the ACCA China department. The player quickly or precisely type in words in ACCA exams, as a gamified vocabulary training for their internal students.

The game currentl comprises of 2 mini-games: Basketball Chicks and Jetpack Traveler.

Basic Game Play

Basketball Chicks

The player gets a basketball and shoots it by inputting given random words. A wrong submission will break the ball or let the player miss the target. A score panel shows up when running out of time, as a typing feedback or a contest criteria for students.

Jetpack Traveler

The player flies between buildings with a jetpack and overcome challenges by typing
words. Challenges include Dash Fuels, Ghost Booster, Blockers, Path Forks. Couple of preset street blocks are procedurally generated as a finite unique path.

Procedural Generated Scene

In Jetpack Traveler, an infinite game is composed of a series
of preset Street Blockers that connect to others with rules.
In Unity Editor
• Create Street Block prefabs. Every prefabs has an
entrance and an exit.
• Setup Street Blocks with types (left, right, straight) and
weights
Code
•Pick, connect and generate scenes. Street Blocks are randomly selected and connected the exit to the entrance of the next one.
• Check overlaps and re-run. If a Street Block overlaps with another, re-run the last step.
